Mt Sinai School was started in 2001 June with the vision to bring quality English medium education to the villages around Erachakulam.

Our Story

Mount Sinai Nursery and Primary school was started in 2002 November. Mr. David and Annie Lucas, the founder and Principal of the school had the vision to Rise, Raise and Praise. The first year saw 25 children walk into the school campus to start their journey in education.

Fast forward 2018, This year we have a new model of learning called the Experiential Learning method, which basically means, creating experiences for our children that we serve, therefore enabling them to learn and absorb better.

Back to School

We created a garden this year on our school campus that each class will get to maintain. Watch what we did here!

Gratefulness and Resilience was the main focus of this month and our children made ‘thank you cards’ which they later gave to their parents and loved ones. We also talked about what it means to be thankful and counted each day's blessings as a class. The highlight was definitely ‘Happiness day’, which we celebrated on July 14th with tons of games, a whole lot of fun stalls and hearts full of memories. To be part of the fun, watch the video here!

Though it was a rainy day, it didn’t stop us from gathering together as a school to hoist our flag. we celebrated our nation’s 72nd Independence Day. With a mass drill and some brilliant speeches from our kindergartners, plus a fancy-dress show, need we say more, check out the pictures below, we will let them speak for themselves!

We wanted to honor the ones who daily brighten our children's lives here at Mount Sinai and what better way to do that other than by a show put together for the teachers of Mount Sinai School by our very own 5th graders. Take a look and then, don’t forget to thank a teacher you know!

Activities at Mount Sinai

Starting 2018, we also launched several extra-curricular activities such as chess, football, keyboard, guitar, dance, aerobics as well as choir. We have also inculcated various monthly themed activities to instill good habits and teach positive values in our students.
